Eligibility: You must be a sophomore or higher upon arrival in England, meet WIU study abroad eligibility requirements, and be a declared major in one of the following disciplines: Sociology, Political Science (Government), Criminal Justice (LEJA), Accountancy, Finance, Marketing, Business Administration, Economics, or Management.

Location: Birmingham is a vibrant, cosmopolitan and diverse city which has the United Kingdom’s largest student population outside London, with 65,000 students at three universities. Birmingham City University is a large, multi-cultural university with 23,000  students. The Perry Barr campus, located about three miles north of the city center, houses the Business School and the Faculty of Law and Social Sciences, where you  will take your courses.

Housing: Student residence complexes are situated near the campus. You have the option between a residence hall or private accommodation.  Rates vary among dormitories.  A typical room is furnished with a single bed, pillow, mattress and mattress cover (students need to furnish own bedding).  The rooms include curtains, wardrobe, chest of drawers, study desk and chair, easy chair, mirror, and washbasin (in most rooms). The majority of self-catering kitchens are equipped with an electric cooker, fridge/freezer, microwave, kettle and ironing board.
